Hi!! My name is Amanda and I'm currently a sophomore at Florida State majoring in Marketing with a minor in Communication/Media Studies. This is my first year as a writer for Her Campus and I couldn't be more excited to be part of an amazing group of women!

I have always had a deep passion for writing. In high school, I have written for Twice-Told Tale, a student-run publication, and By Any Other Name, a literary and art magazine that were both awarded 1st place by the American Scholastic Press Association. I served various positions in a span of four years, working up to Editor-in-Chief.

Outside of Her Campus, I work as a Campus Rep for Greek House, a nationwide company that creates custom apparel for Greek organizations. I also am an active member of the Gamma Phi Beta sorority and currently serve as Assistant Public Relations Chair.

In my free time, I love to shop online and enjoy capturing memories on my digital camera. I am also a huge coffee lover and have it almost every day. Before attending FSU, I was a competitive Irish dancer for 10 years!
