As a UCSB student, one is subjected to both a taxing academic schedule as well as a proficiently attractive student population. Due to this, many of us Isla Vista-ers strive to maintain a healthy lifestyle, but cannot seem to find the time between classes, studying, and homework…oh, and our social itinerary. However, I was recently approached by Karen Jashinsky, the owner of O2 MAX Fitness, with the opportunity to trial her amazing new fitness company’s Spring Break Tune Up program. O2 MAX Fitness is a company that creates personalized fitness programs and products specifically for students and busy people. Their Spring Break Tune Up was personalized based on when my spring break start date was. My O2 MAX Fitness coach suggested starting this workout 10 days prior to the beginning of my spring break and in conjunction to my existing workouts for best results. As a full-time student, involved in many organizations, clubs, and a sorority, I have an immensely busy schedule. However, O2 MAX Fitness made it easy to implement great strengthening and sculpting workouts that I can do at home in between classes and meetings. When I told my coach that some of the exercises weren’t working for me due to a prior injury, she immediately sent me a list of recommendations for different workouts and specialized stretches to help alleviate some of the pain my injury was causing me. With O2 MAX Fitness, I saw results in just 10 days; and, more importantly, I felt results. I feel stronger and now have a great workout regimen that fits easily into my schedule!
