The app tracks your nutrients and creates customized progress reports and interactive charts based on your goals. It boosts a large food database of over 5 million foods, including foods from many restaurants. It also features a recipe importer, as well as an option to create your own custom food and exercises and a barcode scanner. You can connect and easily integrate MyFitnessPal with devices such as Fitbit, Jawbone UP, Garmin, MapMyFitness, Runkeeper, Strava, Runtastic, Misfit, Withings, and Healthkit. 2. FitMath

FitMath is a fitness calculator that serves as a great app for beginners and advanced fitness enthusiasts alike. It provides accurate health information aimed at optimizing your fitness journey based on specific goals, including weight loss, bulking, and maintenance. Reports include BMI, BMR/TDEE, ideal weight, heart rate, body fat estimate, LBM, LBM and BMR from body fat, MHR, THR, one rep max, protein intake, creatine intake, and body surface area. It’s a great way to stay active while also making a difference. Choose a charity from one of the app’s partners. The app will measure your distance using your phone’s GPS and accelerometer, and every mile you contribute will give more money from the sponsorship pool to the charity at the end of the challenge term (current term ends May 31). The app uses several filters, including preferences such as low calorie, low carb, high protein, and heath healthy; dietary restrictions such as vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerant, and gluten intolerant; popular diets such as paleo, atkins, south beach, and zone; and other filters such as cuisine, ingredients, and type of dish. Tired of eating salads? The app’s most popular filter “not a salad”. In addition to locating healthy options in restaurants in over 500 US cities, the app also provides detailed nutrition information for the dishes.
