5. Rewards programs

Walk into almost any store these days and a sales associate will ask if you are a part of their stores reward program. I always sign up for any rewards program as long as it’s free and doesn’t involve me having to sign up for a credit card. Points you earn from shopping in-store or online at places like Ulta can add up quickly and lead to you getting some great coupons!

6. Cardpool

This website buys gift cards from people who don’t want them and then sell them for a fraction of the amount that is on the card. For example, someone sells a $30 Target gift card to Cardpool and they buy it for $22 and resell it to you for $25. You can either use the $30 gift card that you only paid $25 for to buy gifts for friends and family or you can give it to them as a gift.
