This article was brought to you by my lovely friends and, of course, yours truly. I was thinking as I began to write this article, why not ask my friends what they do to take care of themselves so as to make a master list. So here I present to you: little ways to take care of yourself <3.
Drink water
Water is so vital for you!!!! Not only does it replenish electrolytes, but it cushions your organs and lubricates them. It relieves headaches and dehydration, and it tastes good too! Get one of those big water bottles from Amazon that pace your daily water drinking. I promise you won’t regret it! Water bottles make it really easy to drink water, and it’s fun too!Â
Spoil yourself once in a while
Buy yourself something, splurge, or grab your favorite drink! My guilty pleasure definitely must be Starbucks because it makes my day and brings me so much happiness. And even if you can’t splurge on everything you want, make a list of what you want to get eventually, like Rare Beauty’s entire makeup line. Don’t we all wish we were Tiktok famous getting Rare Beauty PR packages?
Plan hangouts with your friends often.
As the semester starts to end, it is essential to remember to keep in contact with your friends! Life can get busy in the summer, and if you graduate like me… Planning hangouts is super essential, so you have things to look forward to. Also, life can get complicated, and knowing you will see your friends soon can make all the difference.
Do some yoga
Yoga is a game-changer for basically everything. Movement is known to relieve cramps, release endorphins, and be good for your health overall. Stretching out your muscles from sitting all day, doing homework, and studying just feels fantastic. Yoga also improves flexibility, and it’s a tremendous lowkey exercise when you just want to incorporate movement into your day. Â
Go for a walk
Hot girl walks for the win!! Walks are so refreshing and I guarantee you won’t regret them, especially during the evenings when it’s still warm but there’s a light breeze; nothing sounds better than a walk. It counts are exercise, it promotes movement, it gets you outside, and you get fresh air!
