How do we start our day off properly?

We usually find that if we start our day off properly, then our whole day turns out healthy and happy. So what are our top tips for starting your day off properly?

1. Drink water. Start everyday with water to ensure you stay hydrated, this will make you feel energised and stop you reaching for some sugar or caffine

2. Start positive. It sounds stupid but even if your alarm went off at 6am, if you start with a positive frame of mind then your whole day is going to turn out so much more positive and healthy.

3. Get prepared. Start your day off by planning your meals and snacks for the day. Half an hour of prepping food will stop you having to much on rubbish later and will make sure you stay healthy all day. It will also save time and stop you having to worry about what you are going to eat properly.

4. Get moving. Start your day off by doing some chores, going for a walk, working out or even just getting a bit of fresh air. This will wake you up and will boost your metabolism for a day of feeling better and healthier.

5. Think ahead. plan a workout and get ready for workout gear. Plan to spend time with friends or plan to do some nice yoga to relax. But plan something for your day that you enjoy and is a positive healthy thing. This means even if your day is the day from hell at least you know that something good will happen in your day.

 

So now you have five tips to start your day off properly there is no excuse not too! Make sure you get enough sleep and start each morning off properly and your days will become much healthier and happier in no time at all!
