Struggling to figure out what to put on your holiday wish list this year? Honestly, same. I’m torn between splurging and finally getting myself a Hatch alarm clock or going simple (and budget-friendly) with some Lush bath bombs. And if you’re anything like me (one of those wellness girlies who romanticizes her entire life), then you know that the struggle to pick the perfect cozy, self-care gift to ask for is real.
And every time I open TikTok, someone seems to be convincing me that their fave product is the one thing that will magically fix my sleep schedule, give me glass skin, clear my nervous system, and turn me into that girl by New Year’s Day. And who knows? Maybe they’re right — maybe I do need a new sunrise alarm, a foam roller, a sparkly journal with pink fluffy pens, and three different body scrubs (one for my everyday shower, one for my everything showers, and one for when that hookup comes over). Wellness, baby!
So, in the name of helping both you and my indecisive self, I rounded up 12 certified wellness aficionados to compile a list of things that every wellness girl needs on their holiday wish list this year. So, ditch the endless doom-scrolling on TikTok in a desperate attempt to figure out what wellness gifts to ask for this year — the girls and I have got you covered. And if these gifts don’t fix you, at least they’ll make it look like you have your life put together.
Victoria’s Secret Satin Robe ($42)
This year, Becca, 19, is asking Santa for a satin robe. “Whenever I get out of the shower, I end up doing my skincare, hair, and makeup in either a wet towel or an oversized t-shirt, and I feel like a cute satin robe would make my whole getting-ready routine feel so much more put-together and luxurious,” Becca said.
Coochy Shave Cream ($12)
For Ginger, 22, Coochy Shave Cream is the number one thing on her wish list this year. “You actually can’t beat it,” she says. Period.
Rhode barrier set ($88)
Her Campus’s Wellness Editor also has something fun on her wish list. “Anyone who knows me knows I’m a rhode truther — for life,” Julianna, 25, says. “The Barrier Set has all of my favorite products — the Glazing Milk, Peptide Glazing Fluid, and the Barrier Restore Cream.”
Hoka Kawana 2 ($99)
New gear is a must for any health and fitness junkie.“My workout shoes are absolutely destroyed,” Haley, 21, says. “I’m dying for a new pair of workout shoes that I can wear when I go to the gym or on my daily runs.”
Silk Bonnet ($52)
ICYMI, silk bonnets — not satin, but real silk — have been used by women of color for years to keep hair soft and healthy. So, if it’s on your wish list holiday season, consider purchasing from a Black or WOC-owned business.“I’ve been wanting a silk bonnet to keep my hair healthy for months, but could never justify buying one — but with the holidays coming up, I finally decided to put one on my wishlist,” Juliet, 19, says.
Bagsmart Crush Toiletry Bag ($28)
This holiday season, Hannah, 22, is asking for a Bagsmart Toiletry Bag. “I saw the Bagsmart Toiletry Bag all over my TikTok FYP, and I have to admit it: I was influenced,” she says. “I currently either use a plastic bag or a tote bag to bring my toiletries home when I travel to and from college, so I thought I’d finally splurge and get a toiletry bag. My New Year’s resolution is to become a Type A person since I’m the biggest Type B girlie to exist, and I think this is a good way to start!”
Self Care Gift Box ($50)
Some wellness girlies are keeping things simple. “Anytime I do a face mask and light a candle, I feel like my life is so much more put together,” JJ,19, says. “It’s just something about having a face mask on with a candle lit and a book in hand that just makes me romanticize girlhood so much more than I already do.” And this set from Etsy has it all!
uqora Vaginal Probiotics ($30)
ICYMI, vaginal health is always in. “This year, I experienced my first UTI, and unfortunately, a couple more after that, but after talking with my doctor, she recommended adding more probiotics into my routine, whether it’s something as simple as yogurt or over-the-counter supplements such as Uqora,” Lily, 23, says. “At this point, I’m pretty desperate to make sure these don’t keep happening, so I’m willing to try anything.”
Apple Watch SE 3 ($200)
Did you expect not to see a fitness tracker on this list? “I’m definitely late on the Apple Watch trend, but I’ve really been wanting to track my sleep help and steps since I’ve started going on daily walks — and I don’t know any other way to do it,” Raihana, 20, says.
JOURNALING SET ($23)
Journaling is one of the best ways to prioritize your personal growth as you move into the next season of life.“Going into the New Year, I’m done using ChatGPT as my therapist, and instead, I’m going to journal my thoughts,” Kimberly says. “So, number one on my holiday wishlist is a cute journal and some pens.” Normalize acting like it’s 2012 again.
Hatch Restore 3 ($140)
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t insanely jealous of anyone getting a Hatch Alarm Clock this holiday season. “I hate mornings and have such a hard time getting up in the morning, but I’ve heard reviews of people swearing by the Hatch Alarm Clock to become a morning person,” Kyla,22, says. “I worked so much over this past semester, so I honestly feel like I deserve it.”
Lush Sticky Dates Gift Set ($55)
OK, this is something I’m (Emma, 23) planning on asking for this holiday season. I can’t be the only one who is absolutely addicted to Lush’s Sticky Dates products — they just smell so good, and rumor has it, the scent lasts on you for days. However, due to its price point, I haven’t been able to push myself to actually buy it. But when I started drafting my holiday wishlist, you already know this is the first thing I wrote down. And if Santa doesn’t pull through, I fear I’m going to become an absolute menace at the mall on Dec. 26.
Happy shoppping, fellow wellness lovers!
