You feel as if you are enough. You are a happy soul. A positive one. A person who is just very optimistic about everything to make the best of their life.

And then bam! You start to feel distraught. Feeling unhappy and just uneasy in general.

It’s your surroundings. Whether it’s objects or people that will continue to confuse your thoughts or more so drain you into feeling you’re not worthy enough.

Well, at some point in life, everyone has come across this situation. Some have seemed to face smaller instances, whereas others have been dealing with it for the most part of their lives. Or should I say, almost every day of their lives.

“You only live once, so make the best of it,” is a common phrase that everyone has heard at least once in their lifetime. But it’s so true because we do indeed live once, so we should make the best of the life we have. I’d rather be happy and live by my morals, having a blast of a time rather than being sad and living by someone else’s rules.

However, sometimes, knowing the jolly individual that you are, life will put you into a position where it’s hard to remain happy and cheerful. Sometimes these scenarios are not even purposeful, but just the harsh truth of reality.

It’s okay to not feel okay, because we are all humans. It’s okay to feel like a Humpty Dumpty and not a Miss Universe.

As much as you would like to shine as bright as sunflowers, there will always be something that will hinder you from blooming your beautiful aspects.

But you have to remember that no matter what happens in life, you cannot give up.

You are a rose. Roses are beautiful inside out. You have to preserve your positive energy and not let it drain no matter what comes past you. You have to always recognize your worth and you be the decision maker for yourself. You decide on the kind of energy you want to keep in your life. You are the one that is going to decide your true reality. It’s all you.

You may have to close off yourself at times, but remember that healing is a natural process for any living thing on this planet. No matter what others throw at you, stay calm and be patient because that’s what’s best for your own well being.

Maintain your positive attitude and stay true to yourself because when it’s time, you will know when and where to bloom. And no one (and I seriously mean no one) can stop it from happening.

It comes to the point of how an individual cannot heal in an environment where they got sick. But if you are stuck in such a situation, you learn how to fight and become the best version of yourself, surpassing all obstacles.  A flower cannot blossom without the sun. However, it cannot blossom without rain either. Now as much as most of us do not like the rain, we sometimes need the rain in order to see what comes past it.

You have to survive the rain and grow. That is how one will truly learn from life.

Now the option would be up to you.

Do you want to stay put and be unhappy, or do you want to take control of your life and alter your circumstances?

Do you want to be that rare flower that blooms in toxic environments?

The choice is yours.
