It’s time to decide your New Year’s resolution. You know, that promise of self-improvement that you make to benefit your health or overall well-being that most people break halfway through January? Well, HCXU wants you to have an amazing year, so here are some suggestions for New Year’s resolutions that you can actually keep.

Donate to a charity every month

Finding a charity that works with issues that you care about is a great way to effortlessly improve the world around you. You can choose automatic withdrawal, which is a simple way to keep yourself accountable. Just cutting out one coffee a month and giving the money to a worthy cause can make a difference!

Drink more water

Most people don’t stay hydrated enough, but drinking lots of water every day is valuable for your health. There are plenty of benefits to drinking water including: improving focus and brain function, keeping your body temperature normal, and flushing out toxins. Especially if you’re going to try to hit the gym more often this year as part of your resolution to lose a few pounds after the holidays, it’s important to drink more water.
