The search is on! Leaves are turning and temperatures are dropping, that also means that it’s time to find next year’s apartment! Finding an apartment for the next school year always comes up so quickly and apartments are already leasing. To help you guys out, I made a master list of some of the most popular apartments around UW-Madison campus. Here are some simple things to consider to make sure you find the apartment that is right for you!

How many roommates will you have? Shared bedrooms?

What is your budget per month? Be careful when researching apartment prices, some like to have it listed per bed or for the whole apartment so keep an eye out for the specifications.

Write out your must haves. Some of mine are that the apartment building has to have air conditioning, furnished, and laundry on site. Then write out some of your “this would be nice to haves.” Right now I think it would be cool to have a balcony or a gym that is included with my rent.
