We all need to take some time here and there for self-care. In those moments when you’re overwhelmed and don’t quite know what you need for yourself, there are some really great apps out there to guide you.

  • Insight Timer

Insight Timer is an app loaded with thousands of different guided meditations. They have something for everything; anxiety, depression, or even just something to help you fall asleep. I use this app every night as I’m going to sleep, it knocks me right out and I wake up feeling super refreshed!

  • #SelfCare

This app does a really great job of helping me calm down and breathe when needed. It provides a very calming atmosphere as well as some activities to guide you and distract you through whatever is going on.

  • Headspace

With Headspace, users can find effective ways to calm themselves down and create better coping mechanisms… something that all of us could use a little.

  • Happify

Happify uses aspects of positive psychology to calm you down. Within this app, there are several games that you can play that help you to relax and also help you build stronger coping mechanisms!

  • Pacifica

Pacifica is good for tracking moments of anxiety and depression. Along with meditations, the app will also check in with you and monitor how you’re feeling so it can adapt to what you need.

  • Viridi

This app acts as a safe haven where you can grow a plant as you grow yourself! Believe it or not, growing digital plants is a great way to calm down.
