College is stressful. There are always papers, tests, and wait– it’s midterm season already? And while that may be scary, it’s also important to make sure you have some time to yourself to relax and destress. How to do that, you may ask? Well, by following dogs on Instagram, of course!

I love dogs so much, and while I can’t always be with my little pup at home, seeing a post from any of these doggos helps me get through the day. With their cute little faces and wagging tails, what’s not to love about them? Here’s a list of some of my personal favorites, ranging from pugs to huskies, and anything in between!

Doug the Pug

Starting off our list is the pupper with the most impressive social media following: Doug the Pug. This special pug has 3.7 million followers on Instagram alone, and is mainly known for his appearances in multiple music videos, talk shows, funny skits, and much more. Not only that, but Doug meets famous celebrities on the daily, such as John Legend, Justin Bieber, and Halsey. This pugger’s got a very high-end social life, indeed.

Cumlord

Despite his strange name, Cumlord is the sweetest little ball of fluff around. He’s a little Pomeranian that boasts a huge personality, and enjoys anything related to food (especially his favorite chicken nuggers). This ball of floof is basically a walking meme that is adorable and strange, but will be sure to leave you happy, yet very confused– but what else is the only living marshmallow supposed to do?

Loki the Wolfdog

Loki may seem all intimidating and scary at first, but really, he’s just a big sweetheart. He’s a husky, malamute, and Artic wolf mix, and loves exploring the great outdoors with his humans. His instagram also has absolutely stunning pictures of him in nature and he is honestly one of the most photogenic dogs around. Go give this gentle giant some love!

Maya the Samoyed

Maya is a two-year old Samoyed who is just the definition of fluffy! She is also downright hilarious, and her silly videos are sure to put a smile on your face. Maya is also a very smart pup, and in most of her posts you will see her vocally interacting with her owner. This bundle of floofiness has enough character to match her crazy amount of fur!

Maxine the Fluffy Corgi

If you are travelling around New York City, keep your eyes open for Maxine the Corgi, who happens to travel the subway in her owner’s backpack. She loves people smiling to her on the street, but is also a bit of a diva because of all the attention. Maxine is playful, energetic, and extremely cute, so be sure to follow the fluffer’s adventures on Instagram!

Holly and Hazelnut

Holly and Hazelnut are two Doxies living in style in Pasadena, California. They are known for their mom dressing them up in fashionable outfits, including dog-sized flower crowns. When they aren’t busy being fashionistas, Holly and Hazelnut make adorable videos of them exploring Los Angeles. Either way, how can you look into those puppy-dog eyes and not fall in love?

Dubs II

I may be biased, but I think that University of Washington has the best mascot around. You may have seen Dubs (II) on the Husky sidelines, cheering on his fellow dawgs or appearing at other events. When he’s not being a campus icon, Dubs loves going on walks and playing with all his stuffed animals. Honestly, how many people can say they have a mascot they would die for?

The Mini Aussie Family

This little pack is a growing family of Mini Aussies that recently had a litter of puppies! They are all such beautiful dogs, and each has its own quirky personality! All of the puppies love messing with their parents, but especially their overwhelmed dad. The Mini Aussies are a welcoming addition to anyone’s feed and can most definitely brighten up your day!

Quincy Vines

If you love watching animal videos, you have probably heard of the online sensation, Quincy! He’s a Bichon Frise who gained his fame trying to mimic the sounds his owner would make when he was singing. Quincy is also notorious for sitting in weird positions around the house, and hilariously not putting up with anything his owner says. Since Vine ended (RIP), he has moved on to earn a large following on Instagram.

Mr. Bubz

Oh, Mr. Bubz. He has blessed the internet with all of his nervous energy and snarling, becoming somewhat of an overnight sensation. There’s something so indescribable about this little demon that makes him so fun to watch: maybe it’s the big eyes or the expression of dread, or his constant need for attention. All I know is that I love Mr. Bubz, and you should too!

Maple the Pup

You may have come across Maple on Twitter, as she famously has been seen jamming out next to her owner in his acoustic guitar sessions. This pretty lady is a Border Collie and Golden Retriever mix, and she loves music more than anything. When her owner plays, she becomes so relaxed that it’s contagious. So until these two start touring together, put on some of their videos and destress with Maple!

Bonus: Cashew the Corgi

Wait! There’s more than one dawg hanging around the University of Washington! This little corgi is an up and coming account based out of Seattle, who is often seen posing around UW’s campus with his favorite puppicino. Cashew’s account has a bunch of charm, and the little cutie continues to capture the hearts of many as he grows into his big ole’ ears.

Of course, any dog is a 10/10, would recommend, but I hope this list introduced you to some good boys and girls! Go give all of them a follow to brighten your day in the future!
