Melissa is a junior here at the University of Washington and is a double major in Public Health and Communications with a Sales Certificate. She is a member of Delta Gamma and works as a brand ambassador for Sparkling Ice. She is a big fitness fan and absolutly loves the Cooking Channel.
What is your favorite thing about UW?
“Law library. It is my absolute favorite study spot.
What is your best study tip?
“Listen to white noise (study power focus on YouTube) to drown out other noise and make focusing easier.”
Favorite class you’ve taken at UW?
“Communications 234, Public Debate. The teacher was a really strong lecture and the topics were relatable. Also taught you the importance of being an assertive speaker.”
What are you most looking forward to doing during Winter Break?
“Watching holiday movies by my Christmas tree. And the Cooking Channel but of course.
What is at the top of your Christmas list this year?
“I really want a new winter jacket to help deal with all the monsoons we’ve been getting this winter and fall”
What’s the best place to go for food in Ballard? “La Isla is a great little Mexican restruant or Full Tilt Ice Cream at Lil Woody’s.”
