This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wake Forest chapter.

1. Take a bath

Baths are AMAZING. Something about them just instantly relaxes me. Next time your stressed out, try taking a bath. Even just for 10 minutes. It will ease your mind and help you wind down after a long day!

2. Read for pleasure

When you have to read so much for school, reading may seem like the last thing you want to do. But a great fiction book can be the best escape sometimes when you’re having a bad day. Next time you’re about to watch Netflix, grab a book instead!

Write out your thoughts! You can make lists; recap your day or just write down what is on your mind. Sometimes getting everything on paper puts everything in perspective and helps you relax.
