Ladies even though it’s fall time that does not mean you should slack on your workout. So I am here today to give you tips on starting and maintaining a workout schedule to better suit your needs, time, and wants. Welcome to the Body Party.

 1. What to Wear

When it comes to working out appearance is more than just looking good, it’s all about safety first. When choosing your workout gear its best to start with shoes that have a good grip. Nike, Adidas, New Balance, and Puma are good examples of long-lasting brands that help provide balance and support when engaging in vigorous physical activities. You next need either leggings or shorts that are fitted to wear, not loose but not too tight to the point where it cuts off circulation. And finally an athletic T-shirt that absorbs sweat to prevent that “sticky” feel after you work out.

2. Schedule

Time is the biggest factor when it comes to working out. In order to find days to workout it is best to sit down and map out your entire schedule. Any open blocks where you have 2-3 hours of uninterrupted open time is best the best time to work out.  This gives you time to prepare, complete all the exercises you plan on engaging in, and time to relax before continuing with your day. Also you have to factor whether you plan on exercising more than one day, and thus will have to schedule “on” and “off” days.

3.    Pick your work out.

When going to the gym it is best to have an idea of what you activities you plan on engaging in. It is best to not do a full body workout if this is your first time going to the gym, and focus on certain parts of the body. Not only will it prevent any bodily damage, but it also allows each individual muscles of your body to recover and grow at a proper rate. So it is highly recommended that while making your schedule of days you plan on working out to also pick out what particular exercise as well.
