3 Simple Steps to an Easier Semester

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Valdosta chapter.

1. Give Yourself TLC.

With so much going on with your classes, you need to make time for yourself! Eventually you’ll need an outlet for some relaxation. Find healthy ways to cope during the week, so that you can stay in good health and good spirits! The Campus Recreation Center offers yoga, dance and many more fitness classes!

2. Get Organized!

Stop now! If you haven’t printed out all of your syllabi for classes, or assignment schedules, you might want to consider doing that now. The easiest way to stay ahead is to know which assignments are coming up soon. Avoid any unnecessary stress and get a planner to keep with you throughout the day!

3. Get Good Sleep and Exercise

Falling asleep in class is not only embarrassing but you’ll miss a lot of information in lectures. Working out in the morning before classes will give you a boost for the day. Also, the foods you eat will affect how your body feels, so go for fruits and veggies before you choose fried foods! (B12 and B6 are great vitamins for energy)!
