27 Thoughts You Have at the End of Second Year

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at UWindsor chapter.
  1. Wow, this does go by faster than high school.
  2. I can remember frosh week so clearly.

  3. Why do freshmen look so young still?

  4. It only gets harder from here…

  5. Oh my God it’s almost senior year.

  6. What kind of projects will I be working on?

  7. I do not see the start to my career at all.

  8. What am I doing with my life?

  9. Do I like my program still?

  10. It’s too late to switch programs, though.

  11. But then again, it’s better to switch now than after I fulfill this degree…

  12. …. I think.

  13. Am I supposed to be doing internships now?

  14. I’m 19 and feel like I’ve done nothing with my life.

  15. I don’t feel like an adult.

  16. I still don’t know how to cook.

  17. Do I spend my 20s partying or being professional?

  18. I’m definitely NOT done my partying years.

  19. Can I do both?

  20. No I can’t do both.

  21. I don’t have a super close relationship with any of my profs… oops.

  22. I can suck up the next two years.

  23. The rest of uni is going to go by even faster…

  24. Will my friends all move back to their hometowns?

  25. I’m not ready for radical change again.

  26. Guess I’ll just enjoy what I have left of university.

  27. Who knew I’d love it this much?

I've always been a writer. I'm a Sagittarius with an INFP personality type. I have cats and dogs and love all animals. I am an ovo-lacto pescetarian veering into raw food, slow fashion, eco-friendly beauty, and all-natural skincare. I am a huge fan of language and study English Literature and Creative Writing. I have left footprints in Europe, North America, and the Caribbean. I have a million favourite quotes. I am a devoted Anglican. Finally, I believe love conquers all.
