5 Easy College Tips to Make It to the Midterms

Midterms are coming soon!  They are only a few weeks away so here are some helpful tips to relieve growing school stress.

1. Don’t freak out.

Do not get scared or distracted by the overwhelming amounts of things on your to-do list. This will only set you back on completing assignments, papers, and projects.

2. Prioritize.

Make sure to have everything prioritized each week so you know the most important things to do. Get those done ASAP to help relieve stress at the end of the week.

3. Don’t do everything in one setting.

I have tried to do this countless times (my friends and I) can tell you that I was a wreck after this. Yes, your professors all give you a bazillion things to do, so complete them individually and you should be good.

4. Socialize

Sometimes relieving stress is best done with friends! Going out with a small or large group of people can really help clear your mind.

5. Get enough sleep.

Sleep and rest also help clear the mind. Resting can give your brain the break it needs to do its best.

I am a senior at the University of West Georgia studying Mass Communications concentrating on Digital Media and Telecommunications. My minor is in English literature. I hope to become a content creator once I graduate this December!
