What’s your position/role in ASUWB?

Junior Class Senator

What projects are you currently working on?

  1. Restructuring department websites for consistency, which is especially useful for pre-majors and students newly admitted into their major
  2. Working to strengthen relationships between students and advisors – they’re here to help!

What has your experience on ASUWB been like so far this year?

I’ve had a great experience getting to know my peers and learning about how to improve everyday experiences on campus by students across disciplines and with differing perspectives on the student life at UWB. Being able to learn from them has helped me broaden my own perspective and think creatively about how to leave a positive impact. I work with peers who genuinely care about our university and I’m proud to grow alongside them.

In your opinion how does ASUWB help the campus?

ASUWB is all about bringing student voices to the forefront. These students make up our university and in order to help the campus, ASUWB has to know where to start. We try to get to know as many student opinions as possible and take action where the greatest need lies.

If you could recommend one food item to the students that is available to purchase on the UWB/ Cascadia campus, what would it be and where can you find it?

There’s a super cool coffee/hot drink machine in the Beardslee building that makes having class there a little bit better.
