You’ve survived the first month of spring semester! Congratulations collegiettes™!
If you started out strong, then by all means continue on with your “go-get-em” attitude. But if you have fallen a little behind, there are a few things you can do to get back on the track to success.

Get more sleep.
If you’re like me, you’re awake all hours of the night and then somehow get up and function for the day on just a few hours of rest. This is definitely not healthy and something to work on. Try to get at least 6 hours of sleep every night. To change a bad sleeping habit, have a regular routine and reasonable bedtime set based on your schedule. Eventually, you will get used to the same routine, get more sleep and wake up rested. At least that’s the plan; as busy college students sometimes sleep is the last thing on our minds.

Manage your time for work and play.
The most important thing to do in college is manage your time accordingly. Between going to class during the week and possible parties over the weekend, most collegiettes™ have a pretty busy schedule to keep up with. But in order to keep your life organized, make sure you have enough time to manage your health and your homework. Check out Her Campus national’s article 25 Reasons it’s Okay to Stay in Tonight.

Eat.
Sometimes I find myself waking up in the morning for class and grabbing a quick granola bar and water bottle on the go. All of my classes are back to back until 3:15 and my internship starts at 3:30. Then bam, I check the clock and its 6 p.m. How did the whole day go by without me eating a full meal? Well, there’s a simple solution: plan ahead. Make time for a snack between classes or pack a meal with you in a lunchbox. With great options like Subway and Pollo Tropical on campus, you never have to skip a meal.

Go to the gym.
Still haven’t started your New Year’s Resolution? No worries, the gym is waiting for you (and me)! But even if going to the gym wasn’t your goal for this year, check out Five Ways to Keep Your New Year’s Resolution for some help.

Get back in the swing of things for the rest of spring semester!
