Ways to Stay Active as a Busy College Student

GRoup Exercise Classes

Most universities offer a wide variety of group exercise classes. These are a fun way to meet new people and work out together!

INtramural Sports

My favorite way to stay active is to join intramural sport teams. I like trying new sports such as flag football and UNH’s own sport, broomball. These are great ways to stay fit, but also still be competitive.

Yoga

On a more relaxing note, yoga can be done almost anywhere. Whether you take a class or do it in your dorm room, yoga can be simple and relaxing.

Campus run

Running is not for everyone, but it is very rewarding! Taking a run through your campus can keep you engaged while getting exercise.

Scenic Walk

Take a walk by yourself or with a group of friends through the woods or your college campus. This is a great way to explore your surroundings and see the beautiful fall views.
