As a fitness junkie, I am always looking for a good and filling snack after a hard workout. I tried out GolBar and reviewed what I thought about the protein bar and what benefits it had over other competing brands.
1. It tasted delicious!!
I am one to admit that I don’t particularly enjoy protein bars after a workout- I honestly think to feel like I am eating straight protein powder. GolBar didn’t taste bad at all, in fact, it tasted very good! I tried the cocoa bar and it had such a sweet taste, I forgot it was meant to be healthy!
2. Smooth Consistency
Another reason GolBar was one of the best bars I have had was that the texture was smooth and creamy. Most protein bars in my experience have a grainy texture that puts me off. However, GolBar was different in that it had a texture I could finally enjoy! I know a lot of people who are sensitive to food texture, so if you are one of those people, please give GolBar a chance!
3. It actually gave me energy
Although I didn’t eat enough to notice a difference in muscle, I could tell it gave me instant energy. Before eating it, I felt very under the weather. Once I ate the bar, I quickly began to feel like my chirpy self again!
I would definitely recommend anyone to try ou GolBar if you are looking for a good protein snack after working out, or just a general pick-me-up throughout the day!
