Self-care is irrevocably important. Even if you’re happy, there might be certain aspects of your life that you may be neglecting. Here’s a list of things you can do when the going gets tough.

1. Make a list of things you’re grateful for.

2. Eat some chocolate.

3. Take a slow walk.

4. Read something for fun, not for an assignment.

5. Color.

6. Call someone ~special~ in your life and have a talk.

7. Watch a funny, no-drama series on Netflix, like the original Gilmore Girls show.

8. Devote the entire day to laying on the couch.

9. Deep clean something (your mom will be proud).

10. Drink some hot tea.

11. Listen to music from the 90s.

12. Watch some trashy reality TV.

13. Wash your sheets and blankets.

14. Clean out your laptop.

15. Listen to this super cool playlist full of TED talks about self-care.

16. Sign onto one of the live webcams that lets you watch cute animals. Here’s a panda channel.

17. Feeling off? Click through this interactive list and see if it can help you figure out what’s up.
