As the winter season finally comes upon us, it’s easy for that lovely friend, seasonal depression, to come back and stay, even if uninvited. Oftentimes, with it, unfortunately, comes low self-esteem. These two together, not only make it hard to get through the day but can make you feel like less of a person too. I often suffer from this deadly combination in the winter months and here are some of the things I do to help myself out:

1. Change Up My Look

This can be something as simple as parting your hair to the other side or changing up your eyeshadow to something a little more vibrant. This week, after feeling terrible, I had decided that it might be fun to try and curl my hair, seeing as I had wanted to do it for so many years. So I went out, bought myself a set of curlers and it turns out that I absolutely loved it! My new look ended up being just the type of change I needed for a better mood.

2. Get Some Sexy Undies

Normal Cotton undies definitely get the job done, but I feel so much better about myself when I have something a little sexy on underneath. For me at least, my self-confidence is boosted because I feel attractive. I believe this is something everyone should get the chance to experience, especially during these hard times of the year.

3. Work Out

Working out is a great way to relieve tension as well as make yourself healthier. Getting active helps release endorphins to balance out mood levels leading to a happier and healthier you. Also, If you work out now, you’ll have that perfect summer body for when bathing suit season comes!
