Rafa Farihah can be summed up in one word, awesome.
She is friendly, funny and honest. All the reason why HCUH loves her.
Double majoring in broadcast journalism and management information systems Rafa stays incredibly busy.
For many, double majoring would be more than enough to take on, but Rafa’s ambition has her doing more.
She is involved in several different extracurricular activities that includes Her Campus, The Daily Cougar, Coog Radio, Muslim Student Association and United Muslim Relief.
“I enjoy that I am able to serve the community and socialize with other people who have the same desire to help others,” said Rafa.
UH being a diverse campus allows her passion for helping others to spread to all different types of people.
Once Rafa graduates she plans to take all she has learned as a COOG and work as a reporter at a Houston news station.
