Being back in full swing this semester with in-person classes is both exciting yet daunting! From staring at the computer screens to walking through Sather Gate, the transition can definitely feel surreal and even anxiety-inducing, making us nervous for the new school year.

However, a remedy that can cure our stomach butterflies can be experimenting in the kitchen by baking! Like Laura Jean from Netflix’s To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, baking can be a soothing way to destress this semester. Here are some delicious TikTok recipes to bake this fall:

Lemon Madeleines
Arroz Con Leche
Spiced Chai Macarons
Princess and the Frog Inspired Beignets
Mini Pecan Pies
Cinnamon Rolls
Brown Butter Pumpkin Bread
Pumpkin Pie Crisp

As school can have a strong grip on our schedules at the moment, having hobbies on the side like baking can be a fantastic way to wind down from our studies and add some recipes under our belt. Now go bake, study, enjoy this pumpkin season, and stay safe!
