With classes coming to an end and finals approaching quickly, you’re likely to be spending a lot of your time focusing on studying for tests, writing papers, and working on projects. Unfortunately, the more you focus on schoolwork, the less time you have for everyday activities like eating (and we can’t have that now, can we?). Besides, long study sessions and food go hand-in-hand—I’m currently chomping down on an everything bagel with cream cheese as I type this (and an essay) out.
The good news for you is that Eat Street has you covered. Eat Street is an online food-ordering app started by and geared toward college students. Not only will you be able to get the food you love, but you’ll also be able to get your favorite meals for a low price. When most of your money goes to rent, grocery shopping and new textbooks, occasionally eating out shouldn’t break the bank. That’s where Eat Street comes in.
It’s really simple to order from Eat Street. Check out their website here, or download the Eat Street app on the Apple store or on Google Play. Once on Eat Street, just search for the restaurant you want, or look up what kind of food you’re hungry for, and the site will bring you where you need to go. From there, you can select what you want from the restaurant, or you can choose where you want to get your meal of choice from.
Eat Street has new deals every week, from a wide range of restaurants. In Iowa City, from Nov. 30 to Dec. 6, Eat Street will offer $3.99 for a large one-topping pizza or Pokey Stix from Gumby’s (only available until Dec. 5); $4.99 calzone and tots or a cookie from D. P. Dough’s; and $5.00 sushi rolls and soup from Osaka Japanese.
These deals are only available through Eat Street, and you won’t be able to get them after Dec. 6, so don’t forget to treat yourself.
