and I wonder if we’ll ever meet again,
in the places that we called ours.
maybes in the places we’ve been,
or maybe in between two endless seas.
perhaps through the morning breeze,
or the waves that never creep.
maybe in absence of our fling,
in the moments that we freely lived.
or perhaps just in the depth of the unmeasured deeps:
for that’s the only place we’ll ever get to meet.
