After a two-year hiatus, the thrilling Netflix show Black Mirror made its return on October 21st with six new episodes for you to binge on! The show mainly focuses on technology and the effect it has on society as a whole. It makes you wonder if technology is exciting, does that mean people are only using it for the worst ways possible? The first two seasons originally aired on BBC Channel 4 from 2011 until 2014 until Netflix picked up the series to continue. Season three had six different directors for each episode, and Rashida Jones from Parks and Recreation even helped write the script for the first one! This season seems to take the technology thing to a whole other level in just the first episode, accurately titled ‘Nosedive.’Black Mirror definitely tackles some of the issues or realities that we live in today. It’s kind of like the Twilight Zone of the 21st Century! If you like trippy shows, you should definitely check out all of the seasons on Netflix. You can watch the trailer here.
