Staying fit is always a good idea. Staying active is extremely important no matter what is going on in the world. Getting up and getting moving is important for your physical health and for your mental health. It produces productivity which makes you feel great on the outside and even better on the inside. If you are like me, you had just started to get your life together in terms of working out when Covid hit. But no need to worry! Thanks to the internet and some self motivation, you do not even need a gym to stick to your workout routine!

Pinterest is my favorite way to look up workout routines and exercises. You can follow a strict pre-made week by week plan or mix and match different pins to create your own custom workout. Either way, all it takes is a quick search for what you want to focus on and you are on your way. (Just try not to get distracted planning and pinning for your future wedding.)

Youtube

While you are watching makeup tutorials and vlogs, you should try a class on YouTube out. From yoga to cycling, YouTube has all your workout video needs ranging in experience and level as well. I danced for most of my life and recently found a really fun ballet workout that I love doing. All you have to do is set up your laptop and follow along. The instructors will even count your reps for you sometimes!

Jogging/Running Outside

I know, I know. Outside is not really the place to be right now. But by being careful, you can totally use the outdoors to your advantage. If running or jogging is your thing, do a couple laps around your neighborhood (avoiding other people of course). Some places are even still allowing outdoor tracks to be utilized. So check out your local college or even your old high school (as long as it is not crowded) if you like a little more structure. Running is great for your cardiovascular health so even if you are not quite there, try walking at first. At the very least you can get some much needed fresh air. Be sure to check the mandates in your area!
