Here we are again, struggling to decide if breakfast will be a thing this morning … Well, guess what? Here are a few very simple recipes that could easily turn your mornings around.

Cereal: well I know this one is a given, but you could always add some fresh fruit or cinnamon to change it up a little

Yogurt: the possibilities are endless! Fresh fruit, cereal, granola with honey (one of my favourites)! Or better yet you can also layer them up.

Breakfast sandwiches: the key to this is meal prep! All you need is an afternoon or some free time and some parchment paper to keep them nice and fresh!

Rice Cakes: this is a simple and on the go breakfast that could potentially save you from being late to class. All you need is some rice cakes and something to put on top. Whether it is peanut butter and jelly or whatever you have left in the house.

Eggs: let’s be real; if you are a university student living out on your own… our houses might not be in stock with the most diverse range of products. But this is definitely a simple one. You could make them poached, or fried in a basket egg! This one might take longer, but gives you plenty of time to catch up on your social media!

Oatmeal: this is also a very quick and easy thing to have on the go. Plus, all you really need to add is some brown sugar, or honey, or even chocolate chips and voilà it’s a brand-new dish!

French Toast: this is another simple idea that is quick to make and that gives you many options when it comes to toppings!

Although these are very basic and straightforward, it is important to remind ourselves we do have options, and quick ones. So, next time you say, “I don’t have enough time” or “I’m too lazy”, get up and remember that
