Mental health is a very important topic that needs to be talked about more in our everyday lives. Unfortunately, there is a stigma around mental health that needs to be broken.

Mental health is just as or maybe even more important than our physical health. Our mental health impacts our everyday lives because it affects how we feel, think, and act. Mental health is something I have struggled with throughout my life.

I used to be one of those people who did not know how to take care of myself when I was in a deep depression, but I recently learned that when I am going through it that I really need to show up for myself and mother myself.

Some tips I have is to put on a cute outfit, do your makeup, drive around while blasting your favorite songs, taking yourself to a cute café, taking walks especially when the sun is out so you can get that vitamin D, indulging in your favorite foods, watching your favorite tv shows or movies, and putting on a nice face mask.
