Thanksgiving break was well needed for college students after months of essays, tests, and quizzes. But now there are only three weeks left of the semester and two weeks left until finals. The extra workload that students face can be overwhelming as study sessions become an everyday activity for hours on end. As the semester is winding down, some students are ready for the semester to be over where some are ready to graduate. But all of them have to endure the end of the semester exams.

Stress and test anxiety are climbing everyday, so it is important to remember positive affirmations. Positive affirmations have a strong effect on students as they remember that everyone is trying their best and in the end, everything will be okay. No matter what happens, you will succeed. You will eventually find your way.

Stress relievers are great resources to reduce stress as well as test anxiety. Finding your calming aspects and activities is a relieving strategy that comforts a lot of people. The things students do to decrease stress can be something that requires very little effort. Simple things do matter. Stress relievers can also be a habit that you do every day. Repeating those activities to remain calm and comforted have strong effects for when students are stressed or about to take a test.

As finals near and students take five different tests on five completely different subjects, hopefully they remember to take a few minutes every day for themselves.
