Whether you’re too busy or the #GymLife isn’t your thing, sometimes we often find ourselves skipping the walk over to Lee Lohman. But, this doesn’t mean that we can’t get a good workout in.

I know, it sounds crazy right? Well, you will be surprised how many body-weight exercises you can do in the privacy of your own room and actually get results.

AGILITY AGILITY AGILITY!

If I didn’t get the point across yet, start with agilities. This includes high knees, butt kicks, skipping for height, walking lunges, carioca, shuffling in each direction, etc. You can even take it to the stairs in your dorm because who takes stairs nowadays? See how fast you can make it to the top and strive to do better the next time. Not only will all of this warm you up and stretch you out, but it also helps with balance, speed, strength and coordination. It will even help you with keeping your breathing steady during your workout.

Take advantage of your desk chair!

You can use it for dips, inclined push-ups, even one-legged lunges. If your feeling risky you can even use it for step-ups. However, I strongly advise you don’t go to fast or those darn dorm room desk chairs will get the best of you…flat on your face. Your chair can easily take the place of a exercise ball at the gym.

Work that BOOTY girl…and your legs too I guess.

*If she can do it, so can you!*

Squat squat squat…squat. Don’t forget about those squats ladies. The more you do, the better that booty looks. Other than squats you can do wall sits, fire hydrants, donkey kicks, lunges, and even kickbacks. The possibilities are endless. However, when it comes to the perfect butt and leg workout, I highly reccomend checking already made-up ones on Pinterest.

Abs of steel!

If you thought the possibilites were endless with booty workouts, try typing ab workouts into Pinterest. When it comes to abs you can do from a simple sit-up to planks in all directions. Examples include, bicyles, suitcases, jack-knifes, crunches, bridges, leg lifts, cross-legged crunches, supermans, etc. In all honesty, you could make an entire day dedicated to ab workouts, but be warned, you will feel it the next day.

Despite all of these exercises, there is one thing that determines your progess and that is yourself! You have to be willing to push yourself to get the results you’re striving for. I know it wont be easy, but I can guarantee that it WILL be worth it and you CAN do it.

Hi my name is Vic(Tori)a. I enjoy eating endless amouts of potato chips and regretting it afterwards, shopping even when I can't afford it, and checking things off my to-do list.
