Austin McBroom is Serial-Posting on Snapchat Post Divorce

Catherine Paiz and Austin McBroom are well known for their family vlogs on YouTube, having large followings on all social media platforms.

Paiz has 7.2 million followers on Instagram, McBroom has 6 million, and their combined YouTube channel, The ACE Family, has 18.4 million subscribers.

After almost seven years of being married, the two posted to Instagram on Jan. 11 to make their divorce public.

Both parties seem to be respectful of each other and this divorce seems amicable with the final line of Paiz’s post saying that McBroom will always be her best friend.

“And Austin, you’re my best friend and that will never change❤️”

McBroom’s post was a picture of him and Paiz with a caption explaining how he’ll be taking “a leap of faith” and that this was the hardest decision of his life.

After the divorce was announced McBroom has been posting nonstop on Snapchat. These Snapchats are mainly him oversharing and making a fool of himself and TikTok is having a field day.

The first round of McBroom’s Snapchats that made their way to TikTok was when he was “sick” after their divorce had been announced.

Many of these Snapchats he posted were him talking about how awful his sickness is, but some viewers aren’t buying that he’s sick and think the whole ordeal was made up or dramatized for views.

Either way, all of his posts about being sick were the definition of the “man flu,” where a man is sick but is overly dramatic about his symptoms.

This TikTok shows several pictures and videos from his Snapchat story where he is talking about being sick and it’s pretty clear how dramatic he’s being.

After the sickness passed, McBroom moved on to trying to find a new home.

Originally, he told viewers he was moving down the street from his ex-wife and kids, but that plan fell through. So he ended up living in an RV in front of Paiz’s house. (Not so) shockingly he was told to leave by law enforcement.

A neighbor ended up letting McBroom park his RV on their property, which led to him posting a Snapchat video saying “I can still see Catherine’s house through the trees so that makes me feel safe.”

A lot of people find it weird, yet hilarious, that a grown man is living in an RV on the street and feels safe because he can see his ex-wife’s house.

Reading about it might not sound funny, but watch the video and see for yourself.

I’m sure this divorce isn’t easy on him, especially since he and Paiz share three kids, but I think we can all agree the overload of SnapChat content is likely a coping mechanism for him in some way.

While it is funny to look at and laugh about from the outside, no one truly knows how he feels. I do hope McBroom is able to heal from this divorce and become happier than ever.

As for Paiz, she seems to be taking it well, at least as seen online. She still posts regular content with her kids and her spiritual journey.
