I count myself as part of the Lazy Girl Club, but there are times where I really try to do things to get my butt off the couch and to do something that will make me feel healthy. The little goal that I have for myself is to buy fresh produce and make some smoothies. I’d say that I’m not the healthiest nut on earth and I’m definitely not the only one who doesn’t eat enough greens in my everyday diet.  So to help me keep up with a healthy immune system, I drink smoothies to get that refreshing feel. I promise the recipes listed down below don’t include outrageous amounts of green vegetables but it’ll definitely taste amazingly good. These are easy, fun, and delicious recipes that you can drink at any time of day and maybe share with a friend.

Here are also a couple tips to make your smoothie run smoothly. Get it?

  1. You want to use frozen fruit so you don’t have to water down your smoothie with a whole bunch of ice. Pick your fruit, chop it up, put them in a Ziploc bag, and pop them into your freezer overnight. But sometimes you don’t have time to prep your fruits the night before and it can be a hassle. As an alternative, you can also buy frozen fruits in the frozen section of your local grocery store without breaking a sweat.
  2. Put liquid first in the blender before your frozen fruit, so it can help the blender run a little more smoothly. No one likes that annoying sound of ice breaking in a blender, so don’t forget to do this step first.
  3. Prepackaging your smoothies is great because you can roll out of bed, pour the fruits into the blender, and you got a delicious smoothie. Follow the recipes listed above, put the frozen fruit in different Ziploc bags, and when it is time to drink your delicious smoothie, plop the fruits into the blender and bomb! You got yourself a smoothie.

Breakfast’s the most important meal of the day, so get started on the right foot with drinking one of these fabulous smoothies!
