Through the eyes of

my friends

I am the sweetest,

the kindest person you would ever meet

I am always there for them

I am always available to listen to

The midnight yelling

The sobs of depression

Through the eyes of

my co-workers

I am the sassy,

but funny colleague

I am always there to assist them

in any way

The time-consuming projects

The customers that give everyone frustration

Through the eyes of

my family

I am always the one to get

stressed too easily

I am the baby of the family,

both literally and metaphorically

The cries from loss

The yells from annoyance

Through the eyes of

Myself

I am the failure

I am the crybaby

I am the mistake

The cries over stupid stuff

Like homework or doing bad at bowling

The multiple grades, that weren’t up to par or

Being overlooked thanks to my siblings

Through the eyes of many

I am a bright spirit who has a bright future

Through my eyes

I am a wandering soul in

an empty, hauntingly concrete tunnel

with no escape

Through your eyes

what do you see?
