Some people thrive in the winter. When there’s perfect packing snow, hot chocolate, and movie nights with endless amount of food, it seems like there’s plenty to be grateful for during the colder months. It’s easy to say “I love winter” with absolute confidence during the holiday season, but once the new year comes around, people tend to find themselves singing a different tune.

The crappy times come once you look out of your window to gray skies and rain (In January? Really?). Then there’s the wind that makes you want to curl up in a ball under your covers and never get up, midterms, and an overall lack of energy  maybe for no obvious reason.

These are all signs that the winter blues have arrived.

There are tons of solutions to the winter blues, but one of the best is listening to music that’ll boost your mood. Depnding on personal taste, it’s up to you to figure out what works when it comes to kicking the blues to the curb.
