So Close To What (SCTW) is Tate McRae’s newest album. Tate McRae is a Canadian singer-songwriter and dancer. She is an up-and-coming artist who sings and dances. You may recognize her from her previous TV performance on Dance Moms. She also has two other albums out and many EPs before SCTW. McRae has begun to grow her name and brand over the past few years. You may know her from her popular single, “Greedy,” which is now on the THINK LATER album from 2023.
SCTW is her latest album, which was released in February, 2025. SCTW contains 16 songs: a total of 45 minutes of listening time. Many of her songs on this album are more vulnerable and personal to her past relationships, which can be relatable to many of her listeners. The other remaining songs on this album are very upbeat and catchy, and still relatable. A few of her songs feature collaborations with other popular artists. One of the songs is “bloodonmyhands” that features Flo Milli, who is an American rapper and singer. “I know love” features McRae’s ex-boyfriend, The Kid LAROI, an Australian singer.
After listening to her whole album, I can truly say I’m obsessed, just as all her other fans. Here are all of the songs in the SCTW album, starting with my most favorite.

I am looking forward to listening to them. I have been listening to her album nonstop and can’t wait to hear her additional four songs.
