Sophomore Shrishti Jalan is a new member in the Her Campus Community but is already taking on leadership roles and working to better our chapter and the community.

“I joined Her Campus because it allowed students like myself to express their opinions and form valuable connections with like-minded people,” Jalan stated. “I absolutely love how nice and accommodating everyone within the club is, and also how we have freedom over our articles.”

Apart from being a writer for HCMSU, Shrishti is the treasurer of MSU’s Women’s Council.

“With WHM, I have been contributing towards planning events that are being organized by a group of amazing people who inspire me with all that they do,” Jalan shared. “Through the conversations that took place in the planning committee meetings, I have realized that feminism includes a multitude of people with very diverse identities and that it is important to include everyone.”
