Rachel Eyre, Spring ‘23

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

Rachel Eyre and Celeste Rubino first met when working together as year-long interns for the RCAH Center for Poetry during the 2021-2022 school year.

Rachel Eyre is double-majoring in Public Relations and Art & Humanities. If you don’t know her and are in RCAH a.k.a “the Residential College in the Arts & Humanities”–you are missing out. That said, if you don’t know her and aren’t in RCAH–you are also missing out. You can read more about Rachel Eyre and her French PR-based summer abroad in Rachel’s own words here

Still we want more! It is an obsession that can’t be stopped, and so we dive into the world called “RACH from RCAH”.

Who are you? I’m a senior. I’m from Laingsburg, which is basically Lansing, MI. I have a sister, Autumn, who also goes here. I went to Rome, Italy and Cannes, and France–Rome. [I enjoy] History and good food.

Best Cosplay? I did a photoshoot with my friend at the Frederik Meijer Gardens this May. That was probably my favorite photoshoot. I was Zhongli from Genshin Impact and we were under the Cherry Blossoms.

Tips on “College Burn-Out”? I can’t help with that. Tips? I don’t know but finding something you love and trying to find balance with it.

Plans After College? No idea. Wherever I work, I want to work in a place with a good culture.

Life Goals? I want to go to Greece and Japan. Also Spain. Given the choice, I would just travel.

Favorite Anything… I like the Pilot G-2 pens.

Last chance, promote anything and everything! Go Vote!

As of writing this, Rachel is 21 years old! Congratulations and let’s have a drink together!

An excited loudmouth, Celeste often needs to think before she says anything. As a writer, she can get overwhelmed by the composition of thought and barely writes any of her ideas into articles. A classic procrastinator. Please email any issues to rubinoce@msu.edu. P.S. Celeste is no longer associated with Her Campus at MSU as of November 2022. She hopes to continue contributing articles to the Her Campus Media empire when the occasional opportunity arises.
