How long have you been part of the MSU Water Polo team?

About 3 months

How long have you been playing?

3 months!

What inspired you to try out for MSU’s team?

I always swam in high school, and I missed it! I was really sad that there wasn’t a swim club so I decided to give water polo a go.

What position do you play?

Basically anywhere they put me. I’m still getting the gist of it all.

What has been your most memorable moment on the team?

Most memorable part of being on the team is probably when we went to Purdue for a tournament—just bonding with the girls!

What is your favorite part about being on the team?

My favorite part about being on the team is how many amazing girls I’ve met through it. I didn’t know one person when I came to MSU, and when I joined the water polo team, I quickly became friends with 32 lovely girls! Also, it keeps me in shape and away from that freshman 15

How do you balance school and polo?

It can be pretty stressful. I’ve found myself having to pull all nighters and cramming, but I wouldn’t trade it for the world! Joining the water polo team is the best decision I’ve made, next to choosing MSU of course!
