Fun Ways to Celebrate Easter This Year

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

It is officially March which means that Easter will be here before you know it. In this article, I will give you some ideas to celebrate Easter this year, whether it be with your family or friends.

Color Easter Eggs

This was a tradition my family did every year a couple days before Easter. It is super easy and a fun way to get together with others to celebrate. All you need is some eggs, a coloring kit, markers, etc. You can get super creative with these by using dye and sharpies to color your eggs. At local stores, there are plenty of coloring kit ideas, from tye-dye to fun patterns.

Bake Some Easter Treats

Any holiday is a great excuse for baking your favorite treat. You can customize any of your favorite treats for Easter by adding some food coloring or cute decorations. A great website to find ideas on is Pinterest, they have recipes from layered rice krispie treats to Easter puppy chow.

Make An Easter Basket

This would be a super fun idea to do with family or friends where you guys make each other Easter baskets. I would recommend going to your local grocery store to get some ideas. Fill your basket with cute decorations, Easter candy, lip gloss, face masks, etc. This is another great idea that you can customize by adding some fun treats or products.

Decorate Your Room/House

Decorating is an easy idea to get in the Easter spirit this year. There are so many easy ideas for DIY Easter decorations on Pinterest that you can do with your friends and family. If you do not feel like making your own, many stores like Target, TJ Maxx, Amazon, etc. that have super cute decorations.

I hope this article gave you a few easy and creative ideas on how to celebrate Easter this year.
