A “Baseball Hat Day” Playlist

A baseball hat day is not simply determined by whether or not one wears a baseball hat. It is a day largely dependent on feelings and energy. Sometimes it’s because the sun’s out or the birds are singing a particularly cheerful tune, perhaps there is even a slight, rejuvenating breeze.

There is a serenity in the environment that you wish to observe and embody. Baseball hat days are for when you want to take in and appreciate the world, taking a day to spend with nature.

Faye Webster and The Strokes are lovely for baseball hat days, but here are ten songs to enhance your baseball hat day:

“A Dream With a Baseball Player” – Faye Webster

“I Know I’m Funny haha” – Faye Webster

“Ode To The Mets” – The Strokes

“Someday” – The Strokes

“Closer To You” – Clairo

“10:36” – beabadoobee

“I Have the Moon” – Lush

“Be My Angel” – Mazzy Star

“Kokomo, IN” – Japanese Breakfast

“Not Strong Enough” – boygenius

These songs are what encompasses a baseball hat day for me. If you see me in my New York Mets cap, it is safe to assume that I am experiencing the phenomenon that is a baseball hat day to the fullest extent.
