4 Gift Ideas to Get Your Boyfriend for Valentine’s Day

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at MSU chapter.

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, and I always feel like I am struggling to find the perfect gift to get my boyfriend. When I search for gift ideas, I always get the same results of a wallet, keychain, or watch. It feels like each article I read tells me the same thing. Because of that, I have compiled a list of great, affordable gift ideas to get your boyfriend for Valentine’s Day.

1. Manscaped Shaving Kit

This shaving kit is great for those who need a long-lasting shaving kit. I bought my boyfriend this kit for Christmas, but it works for any time of the year. The starter kit I bought included an electric, waterproof razor as well as a toner, deodorant, and a nose hair trimmer. It also comes with a useful traveling case to keep everything in. It is a little bit pricier, but is well worth the money!

2. Paint By Numbers Canvas Kit to do Together

Paint by numbers kit is a great gift to buy if you are looking for something a bit more personal or sentimental. It is a great way to buy something that the two of you can do together. There are many different kinds of kits, but this one is my personal favorite because of the beautiful scenery on the canvases.

3. Lego Creator Kits

Lego kits are another fun gift to grab this Valentine’s Day. There are many different sets, such as New York, a bonsai tree, flowers, and so much more. This gift also allows you to spend time together as you build. This gift is also perfect if your boyfriend is hands-on or into architecture.

4. Valentine’s Day Basket

This gift option is my favorite on this list because of the individuality you can put into it. I did this for my boyfriend last year, and he loved it! I got a cute basket from Target and added a bunch of his favorite things. I put a candle in it as well as his favorite candies, some boxers, and a gift card to his favorite coffee shop. This gift idea is perfect if you are looking to spend a smaller amount, since you can get more for your money.

Although there are many great gift ideas out there, these are my personal favorites! Gifts just for him are great, but gifts that both of you can enjoy help make the holiday that much more special. I can’t wait to see what other Valentine’s Day gifts I can find this year!
