If there’s one thing I’m good at, it’s procrastinating. With finals coming up, procrastination is in full swing and it’s essential to know the best ways to do so. However, if you don’t, you’re in luck because I’ve compiled a list of key procrastination techniques.

1. Read online articles.

Uh duh. If you go online, odds are you’ll find a lot of articles that are sure to spark your attention, obviously. Reading those can take hours of your time, especially if you find a good website. If you need any suggestions, I’ve heard Her Campus Minnesota is really entertaining.

2. Watch Netflix.

This is an obvious one. Netflix was created by the gods of procrastination and I don’t know what we’d do without it. If you’re looking for some shows to watch, check out this article.

3. Go exploring.

The U has tons of beautiful places to check out. If the weather decides to cooperate, go outside and go adventure. My favorite places to go are the Stone Arch Bridge and Minnehaha Falls.

4. Go shopping.

Who doesn’t love retail therapy and what better excuse for shopping is there than being stressed out from exams? If you don’t feel like taking the light rail all the way to Mall of America, online shopping works too! Check out some swimsuits or other summer clothes to get excited for the upcoming season!

5. Take a nap.

Why not catch up on some sleep while studying? It’s said that having enough sleep helps you remember things, so technically by taking naps you’re helping yourself. Plus, naps are just great.

Really though, we’re almost done! Good luck on finals and have an awesome summer, Gophers!
