5 Reminders for the Girl Who Feels She’s Lost Her Spark

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Millersville chapter.

In college especially, it can be very easy to feel stuck. When lack of motivation strikes like no other, it’s important to remember that your dreams are always there waiting for you to achieve them. From a perspective of someone who has felt stuck before, here are some quotes that have really helped me out in that instance:

1. “Everything will be so good so soon. Just hang in there and don’t worry about it too much.”

It sometimes is easier than not to get overwhelmed and worry about the outcome of things. Every bad thing up to this point you’ve overcome, so why let that end now? You are stronger than your worries and you will absolutely come out of this instance.

2. “You wanting a sign is a sign.”

This one is beyond important to remember. Whether you need a sign that everything will ultimately be alright or need some of of reassurance, here it is! You’re doing such a great job. Don’t forget that you’re doing the best you can. Here’s your sign. Take it and run like the wind in the direction of success.

3.  “You have been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved.”

Everything happens for a reason. This reminder is to implement this idea into your thinking. Use the hard times in your life to inspire others around you and to show people that you can truly overcome any hard experience you face.

4. “Be the CEO your parents always wanted you to marry.”

Now, this wouldn’t be a HerCampus article without a little girl boss sprinkled in! Achieve your goals in order to defeat stereotypes and to prove to the world that you are just as successful as anyone else because you absolutely are!

5. “There is sunshine in my soul today.”

Even if you fall into sadness for a long while, that’s okay. Just allow your endpoint goal to hold happiness close to your heart! Fake it until you make it if you have to. Just make sure you’re not eliminating happiness from the question because you always have the chance to find happiness again. And you’ll do just that.
