Students got the chance to love on a puppy during Marshall University’s Alpha Sigma Phi and Delta Zeta cosponsored Rent-A-Puppy. For one dollar, students had the opportunity to cuddle, play and receive kisses from puppies from the Huntington Cabell Wayne Animal Shelter.
Ten puppies were adopted for $50 each.
The fraternities raised $454 for the animal shelter during the event.
The event occured during midterms, and gave students a chance to relieve some stress by loving on the puppies.
