- The Twerkout
Inspired by the famous Miley Cyrus performance at the VMAs in August – the “Twerkout” – twerking workout – has become increasingly popular in the UK. Consisting of three major moves; shake, wobble and jiggle, the Twerkout is said to burn 600 calories in a 50-minute session. If the thought of learning the three hot twerking moves isn’t enough to persuade you, classes are being held at Virgin Active gyms across the UK. So, lose your inhibitions and start body sculpting the fun way. Who wouldn’t want a Miley Cyrus bum for Christmas?!

30 minutes in a cubicle filled with water? Sounds like part of a luxury spa break. However, we must stress that this is NOT a Jacuzzi (or anything remotely similar, sadly.) Hydrofit involves cycling with your bottom half underwater. The result being a high intensity, underwater spinning class that exfoliates your skin AND reduces cellulite.

Gymbox have collaborated with Playboy and knocked up the new ‘sexy aerobics class.’ 45 minutes wiggling like a playboy bunny, and burning 300-400 calories sound like your kind of thing? Be prepared to burn calories, tone up your bum and firm your thighs. Members of the class are free to relax into the spirit of the Playboy Bunnies. P.s. you will be encouraged to be vocal with “seductive noises” as it apparently enhances the experience!
