This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at La Verne chapter.

As the end of the school year approaches, our lives as students certainly get busier. We have projects, exams, papers…and it’s all happening at the same time. Times like these can be very stressful, you start to feel like your life is only eat, school, and then sleep (for a few hours). However, no matter how busy your life may be during this time, it is important to make time for yourself and focus on self-care. Here are five ways to make some time for yourself without taking to much time out of your day–or money from your wallet.

1. Read!!

– Relax with a good back, you could read one chapter a day!

2. Journal!!

– Set aside an hour in your day to journal all the good things that happened to you!

3. Go outside!

-Get some fresh air, go for a walk!

4. Meditate!!

– Don’t know how to? There are a lot of free apps available that can guide you through the process and are only a few minutes long!

5. Eat!

– It’s important to be eating, and healthy snacks are delicious and good for you!!

All in all, even though life may be hectic and you may be the busiest you’ve ever been in your life, you must take time to just sit down and prioritize yourself. Always remember to take care of yourself because you deserve it and it’s the least you can do for yourself in a moment where there never seems to be enough time for anything, make time for you.
